We ask for as little as we can, and we sell none of it.
Three fields, two payment processors everyone already trusts, and no data business behind any of it.

The whole list
What we hold, and what never reaches us.
What we hold
- Your name
- Your email
- Your phone number
What never reaches us
- Your card number
- Your bank details
- Anything Stripe or PayPal keeps on their side
Payments run on Stripe or PayPal. Your payment details go to them directly and never touch ArtScope's systems. We keep your name, email and phone so the gallery can send your receipt and get your piece to you — nothing else, and nothing we didn't need.
The business
We don't sell anything to anyone.
We don't sell your information. We don't sell the artists' information. ArtScope makes money one way: 5% when a piece sells. That's the whole business.
Before you ask
The questions people actually ask.
Is it safe to buy art on my phone at a gallery?
On ArtScope, your payment details never reach us: you pay on Stripe's or PayPal's own page, and they go to the processor directly. We keep only your name, email and phone, so the gallery can send your receipt and get your piece to you.
Why do you need my phone number?
So the gallery can reach you about getting the piece to you, and so you get a confirmation that the sale went through. That's it — it isn't used for anything else, and it doesn't go anywhere else.
Do I need an app? Do I need an account?
No, and no. It's a web page. You point your phone at a piece, read about it, and buy it if you want it.
Are you tracking me?
A little, and here is exactly what: your browser stores one random number so the gallery can tell that the person who looked at four pieces was one visitor and not four. It's specific to that one exhibit, it expires after 30 days, and it isn't tied to your name unless you hand it over yourself. We don't record your IP address or your location. Clearing your browser's site data ends it immediately.
Will I get marketing email?
Not unless you ask for it. Buying something doesn't put you on a list.
How do I get my data deleted, and who do I ask?
Email privacy@artscope.io with the name and email you used. We'll acknowledge within seven days and answer within thirty — we'll tell you what we hold, send you a copy, or delete it.
One honest caveat: if you never gave us a name or an email, there's nothing that identifies your visit as yours, so there's nothing we can look up. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Something we could do better?
We'd like to hear it. This page is short because your time isn't ours to take — if it left something out that you wanted answered, that's worth knowing.
We don't sell your information. We'll reply once — nothing else unless you ask. We use what you send here to answer you; see our Privacy Policy.
